Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow
I read this novel by Gabrielle Zevin while on a relaxing holidaying at Rollingstone during the Easter break. The book exhibits a beautifully crafted writing style, and I enjoyed reading the words and developing a newfound admiration for video game designers.
However, about halfway into the story, it occurred to me; as much as I enjoyed the writing, I realized that I didn’t feel that emotional attachment to the characters. Although I was captivated by the words, I did not really care about what happened to the people in the story.
Overall, it was an interesting read, and I’m glad I got to experience the wonderful writing. But when it came to the characters, I just didn’t find myself invested in their journeys.
Happy reading!
